A big piece of gratitude!
“Let’s make a contribution together” was our call for donations, which many of you heeded during the Christmas season. We raised a total of 27,664 francs. At dieci, we thought this was a great effort and we rounded it up to 35,000 francs.
“We really appreciate the generosity of our customers at a time when many people are not finding it easy to look after themselves and more and more depend on help too”, says Corina Schrepfer happily. She made the fundraising campaign possible along with her team at dieci. “Standing orders have also been set up. This means the flow of donations will continue well beyond the Christmas season.”
The three beneficiary organisations, Save the Children, Tischlein deck dich and Kindernothilfe, make active use of our donations. Soon, even more children will be able to grow up healthy, less food will go to waste, and sustainable methods of cultivating vegetables will be taught.
Deborah Berra, Managing Director of the Kindernothilfe Schweiz Foundation, which supports children in need, thanks the generous donors on behalf of everyone: “As an NGO, we can’t afford a lot of advertising. With its appeal for donations on pizza boxes, dieci brought our organisations into people’s homes. We are very happy about that.”
True to the saying “if you give a lot, you gain a lot in return”, at dieci we intend to surprise you again next year with our dedicated service and generous offers. Grazie Mille for being part of our dieci family!
