Refuelling in Vevey

dieci has conquered yet another section of French-speaking Switzerland with a new branch in Vevey. In a converted petrol station on Rue Collet, manager Andrea Angeretti and his team bake authentic Italian pizzas. It’s an almost poetic coincidence: the place that used to keep engines running now offers you new energy – in the form of crunchy dough, the scent of tomato sauce and a hint of oregano.

Equipped with takeaway pizza, salad and dessert, you can easily find a picnic spot along approximately two kilometres of lake shore. Creative tip for gourmets: right in front of the Alimentarium, the legendary Fork of Vevey rises eight metres above the water. Immortalised in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest fork in the world, it’s a spot where you can not only eat pizza in style but also seize a spontaneous moment of enjoyment. Perfect for a photo to show off the size of your appetite and laid-back Italian spirit. When posting it on Instagram or TikTok, don’t forget to tag #dieci – rumour has it that this will make our pizza even better.

For all those who live in Vevey or the surrounding area: if you prefer to see the lake from afar, you can have our margherita, lasagne, tiramisu and more delivered to your home – whether it’s in Corseaux, La Tour-de-Peilz or Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz. There, you can of course tuck in with normal-sized forks. Or, as a real Italian would preach, simply with your hands.
